During a historic winter storm across the South, I led coverage starting in western Louisiana, where record-breaking temperatures disrupted daily life and infrastructure. I set up live shots, scouted production locations, and conducted interviews with local residents and officials to capture the real-time impact of the severe weather. The journey ended in New Orleans, where I reported from an eerily frozen Bourbon Street—offering a rare view of the city under ice. Through thoughtful storytelling and strategic field production, we brought national attention to a powerful and unusual Southern freeze.
